The Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School Visual Arts Department is very excited to share the work of student artists for the months of February and March in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Blue Dot Café.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Megan and James have invited us to display work of student artist from the high school. From February 1st until March 3rd, the drawings, paintings, photographs and digital images on display highlight the selected works from student artists who are members of the SJND National Art Honors Society, Advanced Art and Advanced Placement Studio Art classes. For the second month of the exhibition from March 4th until March 31st the artwork and photos on display represent all levels of the visual arts program and even selected works from the schools staff.
The students are guided by Art Instructor and NAHS sponsor Mr. Mark Ritter and Digital Arts instructor and NAHS co-sponsor Mr. Andy McKee. An artist’s reception will be held on Thursday February 26th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
We are very grateful to James and Megan Hume the owners of this popular neighborhood café and gallery for providing us with this excellent space to publically display the fruits of our creative efforts. Please take some time to visit the show and enjoy a tasty snack or beverage.
